FAQS

Who can get door finance?

To get accepted for door finance you must be 18 years old or over and a UK resident. If you have previously applied for finance in the UK and got accepted by a finance company, then it is highly likely you will be able to buy a door on finance with us.

Will there be credit check?

Yes, all our lenders will require a credit check on your credit file. This will enable them to decide whether you can afford to make the monthly repayments. This credit check will show up on your credit file.

Do I need a survey first?

Prior to ordering any door, we must complete a survey, as all doors are made to measure. Therefore we arrange for one of our door installation experts to attend to your home and send off the correct measurements for your new door to be manufactured with a home survey.

What if I'm self employed?

No need to worry about not getting a front door on finance! Even if you are self employed, you are still eligible for front door finance online, with a high acceptance rate, but you may be asked to provide further information before we can approve credit.

Getting a brand-new composite door for any home improvements you are making will still very much be possible, along with being able to spread the cost.

How long does it take for my door to be fitted?

From ordering to installation will take between 4 to 6 weeks. This is a relatively short lead time for door manufacturing and can change depending on the time of year and how busy we are. If you would like to know how long it is currently taking for a door to be installed, then contact us now for further helpful information.

Front door replacement cost UK

If you are paying for a new door upfront, the average cost is around £1,500, including complete installation and warranty. If you are looking at spreading the cost then you can break this down with finance and pay part upfront and the rest on finance, or pay nothing for 12 months. It is completely up to you.

Fully fitted doors will have a slightly uplifted cost compared to supply-only front doors, due to the added labour and time of the installer.
