A passion for selling doors online

UK Composite Doors was born from a passion to turn another industry online. Having taken a successful boiler company to £12m turnover in just 2 years, the focus is now doing it again in the door industry.

Buying doors online either supply only, or fully fitted can be done totally online. There are some door companies that ‘offer’ an online service, but they’re clunky. They are not easy to order and they look like they need a web developer to work on them and finish them off.

Customer service levels in the industry are pretty decent. We excel at customer service.

Lead times are long in general, and we knew we could do better.

Prices are high because there’s little disruption to the door market. We can price low and give customers more value.

Fitters are generally reliable and loyal. We have hired all of the loyal ones we know of, and look after them financially as well as their wellbeing. No silly hours with us. We also pay our fitters over the going rate and invite them to corporate events.

Most companies don’t sell online. And for those that do, the journey isn’t great. Ours is slick and backed by multi-million-pound tech investments. We even have a Chief Technological officer CTO; we’re totally digitally focussed.
